Nba All Star Game – Watch the Best of the East and the West

2009 will be the third time this annual basketball game will be taking place in Arizona which will feature the East vs. West Championship; the first 2 years being 1975 and 1995. The NBA All-Star Game is part of the NBA All-Star Weekend scheduled to be held from February 13 to 15 February 2009, which includes the ever popular Slam Dunk Contest and Three Point Shoot Out Contest. The best and brightest stars from NBA’s Eastern Conference will play against their rivals from the Western Conference at the All Star Game which is the highlight of this basketball weekend.

The All Star Game was first staged in 1951 and has been played every year since then. The game has seen some of the best players in the Eastern Conference with the best basketball players from the Western Conference. The participants of this basketball event are chosen in two ways, via fan ballot and the other method is by voting among the head coaches of each squad. Of course the coaches are not

Pillars of Teamwork

Pillars of Teamwork

Some companies and athletic teams use the words teamwork or team to describe how their organization works. That’s extremely important. Some don’t mention teamwork or team. These organizations are the ones that experience stagnation. My research indicates while many companies and athletic organizations taut teamwork, many do not grow teamwork methodology, processes, and skills to benefit from teamwork. Teamwork is a tangible. It requires conscious intelligent effort to blossom.

Andrew Carnegie, an extremely successful entrepreneur and former leader of US Steel once said, “Take away all our trade, our avenues of transportation, our money. Leave us with nothing but our organization, and in four years we shall have reestablished ourselves.” Benjamin Fairless, another great US Steel leader said that, without organization, US Steel would amount to little; and without teamwork, “we would have no organization.”

Championships are won by teamwork.

Suns Top Weekly NBA Power Rankings – NBA Basketball Picks

The Phoenix Suns came to the top of NBA Power Rankings this week by playing strong on road including handling the Celtics their first loss the season on Friday.

Five of Suns’ seven games have been on the road in their remarkable 6-1 season opening, who made Boston look like a bad defensive team.

The Celtics were one place down to second with a 7-1 record. Playing eight games in 12 days. Tired legs affected the defense and the three-point shooting.

The Lakers were one place up to third with Kobe Bryant leading the league in scoring again. Lakers are surviving without Pau Gasol, needing overtimes to win in Oklahoma and Houston this week.

The heat also climbed one place up, joining the Nuggets on the list of teams we didn’t think could have a better season than they did last year. But they’ve got a top-five defense and Dwyane Wade hasn’t had to carry as big of a load.

With half the league looking pretty good and

[ ] June 2009? After losing Andrew Bynum to another knee injury during the second game of their six-game road trip, panic set in in the Laker community. Let’s not forget a couple of things though, Pau Gasol has been a Laker since training camp and Trevor Ariza is back. Pau also grew some balls against boston on Christmas Day. We ARE better than the team that went to the Finals last year, even without Bynum. boston lost veteran experience in james posey and pj brown and are irrefutably more worse than the team they were last year. Can the Lakers finally win IN boston?!
